Stalls offering local fresh produce, wines from some of the regions best wineries, yummy food, hand-made gifts, plus music and free rides for the kids…all in a beautiful setting in the forest at the Quinninup Park.
The Annual Quinninup Market Day was begun in 2001. It has evolved over the years to become an annual event on the local calendar, a great family fun day out.
Over the years the focus has been on providing free activities for children and show casing local produce, usually held on the first Sunday of the third term school holidays in October.
There are many local and visiting children in the area during this time and providing fun activities for all the family is our goal.
Money we raise from market stalls and food outlets, goes towards the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings in our care and of the walk-trails in the area. The organisation and promotion of this event depends upon and involves volunteers both prior to and on the market day itself.
Our Market Day is only made possible through the support of grants and we have been very fortunate with Lotterywest and Healthways who are two of our most generous donors.
Furthermore, Bannister Downs, Woolworths, Coles and Mount Barker Chickens have been staunch supporters as also the Cherry Box, Manjimup Meat Mart, Jackson's Food Supplies, and the Shire of Manjimup.
The 2022 Market Day date is yet to be confirmed but planned for the first Sunday in October from 10 am to 3 pm.
